by Deloitte & Touche.
World Software attributes its 716 Percent Revenue
Growth to the growing demand for its flagship product, WORLDOX®,
a Document Management System.
Ridgewood, NJ, November 20, 2000 – World
Software Corporation today announced that it is ranked Number 434
on the 2000 Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500, a
ranking of the 500 fastest-growing public and private technology
companies in North America. Rankings are based on five-year percentage
revenue growth from 1995-1999.
World Software has had 716 Percent Revenue Growth over a
five-year period due to the growing demand for its flagship product,
WORLDOX®, a Document Management System.
This constitutes an average growth of over 140% per year.
World
Software Corporation focuses specifically on meeting the unique
needs of the legal market. WORLDOX
incorporates document management, e-mail management, extranet capability
and integration with leading case management, imaging and time management
software.

W. Burke, President and CEO, attributes World Software’s sustained
revenue growth to the increasing demand for document management

Magazine

500” list of fastest-growing private companies in the United
States. World Software is
ranked 378th. The company also received Inc.’s
highest profitability rating as our gross profit exceeded 16% of
revenue.

September 2000, the Association of Legal Administrators, one of
the largest and most respected legal trade organizations, selected
World Software over its competitors to participate in their Value
in Partnership (“VIP”) program. WORLDOX was selected because it

Fast
500 Selection and Qualifications
In
its selection of the 2000 Fast 500, Deloitte & Touche’s team
reviewed financial records for more than 5,000 public and privately-held
technology companies. To
qualify, companies must: (1) have had 1995 revenues of at least
$50,000; (2) be headquartered in the United States or Canada; and
(3) be a “technology company.” “Technology company” is defined as one that
develops proprietary technology which contributes to a significant
portion of the company’s operating revenues, manufactures a technology
product, or devotes a high percentage of effort to the research
and development of technology.
